Angkor Wat is the largest temple at the Angkor site. It is without a shadow of a doubt one of the places that everyone visiting Cambodia really must go and see.

My suggestion

If you visit to watch the wonderful sunrise, try to keep apart from the thousands of tourists heading inside Angkor Wat and instead remain closer to the site entrance, next to the bridge.

My suggestion

Rise at dawn so that you can visit certain temples before the hordes of tourists arrive! If you can, buy your temple passes the day before: it will give you the chance to see the sunset and thus save you some time in the morning.
