In contrast with Islandis, this little village looks as though it were from another world. The thick ice sheet, measuring a staggering 2.85 million cubic kilometres, creates a landscape that cannot be seen anywhere else. The canals, little rivers carved into the ice, provide a stunningly beautiful spectacle. Their clear water, which sparkles in the sunlight, will almost make you want to dive in.
