Sayaxché is a stopover town, situated in Guatemala's largest department, Petén. It's crossed by the Rio de la Pasión.
My suggestion
You're likely to find yourself here if you're heading towards the north of the country, but otherwise Sayaxché's not really worth a visit unless you want to take a boat ride along the still waters of the Rio de la Pasión.
