Land of Fire and Ice

January 5, 2018

Went to Blue Lagoon, Ice Cave Adventure, Golden Circle with snow mobile, northern lights, spent a day touring the city, new years eve celebration of bonfire and fire works. All were fantastic! Evaneos did a great job putting our excursion package together.

The whole trip was amazing, everyday there was a new adventure that we were going to be doing. Whether it was hiking up to a volcano, walking a glacier, snorkeling between two tectonic plates, amazed by the size and power of numerous waterfalls, hot springs throughout the trip, black sand beaches with floating glacial ice, the elusive northern lights ( that we saw 3 times), horseback riding the special Icelandic horses, and the amazing helpful people. We did so much everyday, I am sure I left something out. IN brief we saw and did so much in 10 days

We did it all. Reykjavik, volcanos, glaciers, ice caves, waterfallls, geysers, black sand beaches, northern lights and national parks. All beautiful.
