We love very much Asia for our holidays. It allows you to be fully in contact with nature and amazing landscapes. It is the perfect way of disconnect and relax.
The best parts:
It has been an amazing trip. Very well organized according to our request. We thank you very much to Evaneos and the travel agency (AdhvanTours) for their services. Our guide was very kind, always worried about our needs.
The worst parts:
It was just one of the hotels where we spent 2 days that we didn't like.

We enjoyed the whole trip! Each destination gave us something to remember. The Forest Rock Garden hotel was something exceptional.
The best parts:
1 Excellent communication with Ziad: prompt, responsive and to the point.
2 The program suited our requirement beyond our own expectations!
3 The quality of selected hotels were very good.
4. The chauffeur was excellent!
The worst parts:
1 (There were not many negative points)
2 The van could be a newer model.
3. The reception staff (front desk) could do with some training and could be little more knowledgeable of their hotel and surroundings.
4. The restaurant and at Passikuda could improve.

Sri Lanka was absolutely beautiful and had everything we were looking for. The people, surroundings, beaches, safari, waterfalls, food are all absolutely amazing
The best parts:
Everything about Sri Lanka! Especially kumbukgaha villa and Thaulle in Yalla. Plus the train ride.
The worst parts:
Slightly too many Buddhas by the end!

The guide was awesome and went out of his way to provide the most authentic experience. He was not only an A1 guide but a great ambassador for Sri Lanka. A one night in tent ciry should not have been on trip as it was not secure, no bottle water or shampoos and no warm shower or AC. Tent city was overun with flies and bugs due to location next to river. The company should not use this place as dim light meant and no room meant you could not open suitcase as tent not big enough. Overun with ants. Tent zip was broken but could not be locked anyway. It was not an authentic experience in tent city.
But the itonarary was varied and well planned and we feel we saw a variety of things . Guide enhanced that 100%.
The best parts:
The guide who was knowlegable and inventive and very professional
The worst parts:
Bottled Water not provided daily by the company. Every company i have ever known does this as customers need good water. In one place the hotel did not provide either and it was remote. When we asked on day1 the company simply said they did not provide bottle water.

The best parts:
The entire trip was well executed. Our guide was absolutely fantastic. In honesty this holiday surpassed our expectations.
The worst parts:
The hotel in Negombo was a little disappointing---but adequate.

We had a marvellous trip to Sri Lanka. Our two weeks were spent exactly as we imagined. We went around the country with a driver and car, who by the way was great at his job. He gave detailed explanations for every place we wisited, and helped us with any requests that we had. The hotels were very good, with nice staff, and qood quality food.
The best parts:
The hotels, the safaris, the jungle trip, the cooking lesson, our driver.
The worst parts:
No such thing.

Family fun
Sri Lanka
We visited many places and stayed at a variety of hotels. We particularly enjoyed the camp in which we stayed for one night, and also the dutch colonial property in which stayed near Galle. We also enjoyed going white water rafting, climbing Sigiriya, visiting the temple of the Tooth, and going on the game drives.
The best parts:
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and especially meeting the friendly locals, and the wildlife. We also enjoyed the scenery; food, learning about the history and culture, and lots of our wonderful experiences.
The worst parts:
We were not too keen on seeing a large snake making its way across the lawn near our accommodation in Sinharaja!

This trip was just fantastic, because we had people like Jessica and Rachel to make our holiday a very pleasant one. Moreover we had this driver/guide called Tilak who was just a diamond, he`d do anything for us, nothing was too much trouble. When I had trouble with my teeth he pulled all the stops to get to a dentist to sort it out and this was on a Sunday so I can enjoy the rest my holidays what a man, thank you Tilak. We`ll certaintly remember all the Evaneos team for a very long time, hope we can meet up again soon. Many thanks Jessica for all your teams efforts.
The best parts:
Before I start can take the opportunity of saying what a great team you`ve got. The person i dealt with for this trip she was just amazing , helped me to organise this trip and had a great team with her who was willing to do exactly what we wanted. The person I`m talking about is Jessica, she had plenty of time and patience to explain everthing in detail, very pleasant lady and moreover very true to her word, I`ve used other agents in the past , but must admit she is the best i`ve come across. Her team mate called Rachel she was so helpful in the payment side, nothing was too much trouble for these ladies. Yes very happy with all the service they have given us and would recommend anyone to use your company. The best parts of the trip was the Perehara Celebratings, just amazing , the train journey and the tea plantation, it was just breath taking.The best hotel was Araliya, Green Hills Hotel in Nuwara Eliya, OMG you´ve got to go there to beleive it, everyone so polite and the food just superb, don`t get me wrong all the other places were good but this one beats the lot.
The worst parts:
The only one we didn`t like was the long drive from Stuert Hotel ,Columbo to the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka to Rock Citadel, it´s a very long drive nearly seven and a half hours , we had a few stops on the way and met many local people but wouldn`t like to do that journey again.

We visited Ella. Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Sigiriya, finishing up with a few days in Trincomalee. We also had a day in Galle, which was lovely - wish we'd spent more time there. The people were very friendly and we had lots of lovely food. A great holiday in an amazingly colourful and diverse country.
The best parts:
We loved Sigiriya, the beautiful temples and the elephants at Mineriya. The train ride from Ella to Kandy was amazing too. Our guide was really helpful and full of information.
The worst parts:
We were rather concerned about the vehicle provided for the elephant safari, which was not fit for purpose. As well as having no means of opening the doors from inside - there were no handles, just the metal fixings which kept jabbing us in the legs - the engine stalled whikst we were very close to several large bull elephants and had to be bump started by another jeep. Very scary!

I would like to again apologies that you had to experience your safari vehicle stalling in the park at a critical moment. We have contacted our safari vehicle suppliers at the National Parks Wilpattu, Minneriya, Udawalawe & Yala to address about the safety of the passengers and to maintain the quality of the fleet of vehicles that are being used in order to prevent such instances from ever occurring in the future.
I hope you would visit Sri Lanka in the future again as there is much more to see and do in our little island :)

We had a busy 7 days with our own vehicle/driver guide as we knew we were having the next 7 days relaxing in the Maldives.
Our trips included
Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Elephant Safari -Minneriya National Park, climbing Sigiriya Rock,Dambulla cave Temple, Kandy, sacred Temple of Tooth Relic, Spice garden, Batik factory, Silk area, Wood carving outlet, Train journey from Hatton to Ella, Nuwaraeliya, Aberdeen falls, little England, Cultural dancing, Hatton plains, white water rafting Kitulgala, Negombo
The highlights were probably the Elephant safari and the train journey.
We could not have done a fraction of this without Evaneos and Meraal.
He also knows the best places to eat and drink.
A memorable trip and we would all love to revisit Sri Lanka.
The best parts:
Our family of 5 have just returned from a week in Sri Lanka which we booked through Evaneos and then a further week in The Maldives which we arranged ourselves.
Our Sri Lanka experience was First Class due to the excellent package that was put together by our rep Yasasvi and our driver/guide Meraal was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of Sri Lanka and its culture, together with his perfect English meant that we saw and experienced so much. He is a first class driver/guide who uses his own Toyota van which was clean/air conditioned and perfect for our family of 5 adults and luggage.
The worst parts:
Sri Lankan roads mean that it takes longer than one would expect to get from place to place.

9 day tour. The mots beautiful sites: Sigiriya and Kandy. Fantastic safari and stay in tent. Beautiful Anantara beach experience. Professional and caring team.
The best parts:
Everything. It was well organized, the agent - Irina and our guide/ driver - Sanjaya were very professional and helpful. We loved the country and the people. All the historical sites are very interesting and the nature is fantastic. Great food and very comfortable accommodation.
The worst parts:
Nothing really. Our suggestion would be to upgrade your cars. The Nissan van we used offers little leg room which for a driving tour like ours is nor very comfortable.

We went for the cultural triangle down to Kandy, Newark Eliya then Yala and finally the beach at Welligama. We built in tours of monumemetns, temples, white water rafting, elephant orphanage, a safari, whale watching and a mangrove boat trip.
The best parts:
Well organised, Greta driver/guide, we saw a lot of Sri Lanka in just two weeks, bespoke tour to meet our needs.
The worst parts:
Only one niggle, we had got our e-visa but didn't know on arrival in Sri Lanka we had to also complete an entry paper form? We queued for ages, got other efrint only to have to fill in the forms and start queuing again - would be useful to ave known this beforehand.

We spent 2 weeks in the country travelled around & staying in 7 hotels. All of a very good standard, however the Arayia Green Hill Hotel was exceptional.
Colombo was busy and the Fort area very disappointing.
Habarana an excellent location to visit the magnificent sites of the cultural triangle & of course see the elephants.
Kandy is just great, the Botanical gardens are a must & The Temple of the Tooth is stunning. Plenty of walking on offer in the area
The train line through the tea plantations a wonder not to be missed.
The beaches on the south coast, picture postcard perfect .
Galle, the Fort area is smart & classy, another must go to site.
An island with such a variety of landscapes on offer to suite all tastes.
And finally the food, outstanding.
The best parts:
Fantastic scenery, friendly people, amazing historic sites.
The worst parts:
Sales people hassling you to look at & buy their products.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the Sri Lankan people, the beautiful and fecund landscapes and countryside.
The worst parts:
The wait at Colombo airport for the return flight home

Tour off Sri Lanka in private car - as a whole great holiday with the flexibility and freedom we wanted. The tour plan was great, the sites, views and the safari were amazing.
Area off improvement was the airport pickup and also the 'Rafters Retreat' hotel - accommodation was too basic and spending 2 nights there with not much too do - we actually shorten the stay to 1 night and stayed at a great hotel (Silver Dew - Nuwara Eliya) which I would highly recommended and put it on your list off hotels to stay at
The best parts:
The flexibility of the holiday especially the driver/guide willing to make changes to the plan
The worst parts:
No-one to meet us at Colombo airport after 18 hour trip - has to call local tour operator to arrange a lift to the hotel
