It's in Eje Cafetero or the Coffee Triangle in the Quindío province, that you'll find the Coffee National Park, which is one of the most popular parks in Columbia.
Most Columbian tourist organisations present the park as an opportunity to learn about coffee production, from the moment the beans are harvested through to the finished product...but that's not the whole story. The Coffee National Park is more of an amusement park than anything else - fairground rides, shows and sweet stalls abound. Of the activities on offer in the park, there are three I highly recommend: The Coffee Show, which is a dance show that narrates the history of Columbia and its coffee, the small eco-trail that explains the different stages involved in coffee production and the Coffee Musuem, which is found at the park's exit.
I really enjoyed my day at the Coffee National Park - it's a great family outing or one to enjoy with friends.
