Lempuyang is a mountain in the east of Bali where you can find one of the island's most important temples: Pura Luhur Lempuyang.
My suggestion
On the path to reach the top, you will come across several groups of monkeys. They can be aggressive and sometimes try to steal food or shiny objects from the visitors - so take care of your personal belongings.

Pura Lempuyang is the second of Bali's nine directional temples. It in fact consists of seven temples constructed on Mount Lempuyang.
My suggestion
Visit in the morning if possible. From 3:00 pm onwards the mist descends from the mountains and clouds the view.
Flores and the Sunda islands in general are much less touristic that certain other destinations in Indonesia. Go there to enjoy an authentic adventure in the Indonesian archipelago.

Catch nature unawares as she wakes up...or at least that's what it feels like when you are on the wonderful 2,329 metre high Mount Bromo, on the east of the island of Java. An absolutely spectacular and unforgettable moment. If you don't appreciate nature then don't bother!
