Plateau des Bolovens: What to see in the surroundings?
The Bolaven Plateau, near Paksé, is a valley full of waterfalls which is ideal for a trip with family or friends. It's the main attraction of the Paksé region.
My suggestion
Ideally you should go during the dry season because during the rainy season it is very humid and the water vapour off the waterfalls prevents good visibility.

My suggestion
I advise you to discover the Bolaven plateau by renting a scooter in the city of Pakse. I would suggest taking 3 days to tour the region at a leisurely pace and enjoy the many natural sites.
