The "pretty village" is well named. Villahermosa is the main town of Tabasco province. It is very famous for the Olmec remains that have been discovered there and which are very interesting to see during a trip to Mexico.

The "pretty village" is well named. Villahermosa is the main town of Tabasco province. It is very famous for the Olmec remains that have been discovered there and which are very interesting to see during a trip to Mexico.
My suggestion
Personally, I loved exploring the town on foot. I really enjoyed my visit to the historic and commercial center, Zona Luz. It's a pedestrian zone, lined with boutiques and restaurants and makes a very pleasant walk.
