Halifax is not only Nova Scotia's principal town, but also one of the oldest in Canada.
My suggestion
If you decide to stay in Halifax, go for a seaside hotel outside of the town.
A town with 360,000 habitants, situated to the north east of Canada, this is an important harbour town and home to a large, reputable university.
My suggestion
Don't just tour the centre of town, take time to explore Halifax's peninisula as well as the Point Forest Park.
