Mongolia
I personally love the lakes and rough terrain and stopping by the river banks to admire the flow of crystal clear water. Having a view up on the mountains with the valleys below was awesome.
The best parts:
It has been an experience of a lifetime, enjoying the serenity of the plains, valleys, surrounding mountains and fresh clean air. Living in Gers and interacting with a few native people and understanding their culture and food. Most of all away from the usual touristy areas.
The worst parts:
There is no worse part but an awakening experience in using a drop out Toilet 😃

This was a fantastic trip. Having the variety in landscape (from steppe with nomads to remote forest/valleys) was a treat; visiting with nomads (at the family we stayed with, the gers we stopped by on the way, and with the horsemen the entire time) was also a highlight. What a marvelous and beautiful place!
The best parts:
Seeing and experiencing both steppe and mountains of Mongolia; spending time with the horsemen on the trip and the nomads along the way; birdwatching and wildlife viewing.
The worst parts:
There was more repetition in the trail than I realized (I was expecting more of a loop), although the horsemen did their best to mitigate this for me and it turned out well. A couple of the heavily used camp sites had voluminous toilet paper behind every bush; tourists should be taught to carry it out or otherwise permanently dispose of it. If it's from locals, this may be a more difficult problem.

Hello Debbie, How are you doing? Thank you so much for your comment and review of the trip you had with us! I am glad this adventure was a success for you and that you had all the time for exploring on horseback our beautiful land. I understand the sad point concerning the environmental issues that sometimes are visible in Mongolia and you witnessed. People are more and more aware of this trouble and try to solve it by some cleaning actions and public information. Tourists are usually not at fault here. For the trek itself I am happy that you had a great experience with our horsemen and the local families to which you stopped by, and you had the warm greetings from our team in Mongolia! Wishing you other wonderful trips all around the world and why not meeting you another time in Mongolia, Have a great day! Enguerran

Unforgetable trip due to our camel guide Bayra, an open man, sincere, happy, a true mongolian man:) Altai mountain give us wings to fly, joy and freedom. Milk tea, staying at yurt also were among favourite memories.
The best parts:
Happiness of people and free spirit
